Elective Courses

Art of Womanhood elective courses are designed to further enhance the studies of women who are engaged in core Art of Womanhood courses and study circles. Electives may be scheduled simultaneously with the core courses or completed in between sessions.

The purpose of these electives is two-fold. The first is to help individual women explore their interests and talents. The second is to provide a starting point for women who sense personal mission in a particular area and wish to study it in greater depth. Accordingly, each syllabus will include two lists of classics on the course subject, one providing breadth and the other depth. Each woman will have the opportunity to customize her educational experience.

If a woman desires to take an elective course, she must discuss it with her mentor to get approval. When approved, the mentor will direct her to register for the course with our Director of Registration at registration@artofwomanhood.org. She will then be contacted by an elective mentor for her initial consultation
